VSA Communities of Practice

The VSA Communities of Practice program provides ongoing professional development opportunities for teaching artists who work with students with disabilities. The core purpose of this VSA program is to cultivate meaningful professional discussion about student learning, universally designed curriculum, differentiated instruction, and assessment. Easel is utilized to provide an on-line resource for this far-flung national community.

“I found this tool to be more useful than any other attempts I have seen at online collaboration. I can see this sort of thing become a staple of the field, especially as we grow in digital applications of our work with students and peers. This is clearly a skill/practice of the future of teaching artistry.”
